Wow. What a year! I can hardly believe it’s coming up to the middle of December and that Christmas is just around the corner. It feels like it’s only been a couple of months since we celebrated the last one. Not sure whether it’s just that I’m getting older and the time goes faster or what, but this year has just whizzed by. It’s been my busiest year so far with so many beautiful weddings and wonderful couples. I know I’m lucky to do what I do, but when I look back at the images and moments I captured for other people throughout the year – my heart just fills with happiness and gratitude.
2013 has also been a year of personal growth and realisation of what really matters in life. My hubby and I are masters of making plans for the future. It’s our favourite pastime! We’ve had ‘a plan’ for a while and we almost went for it, but it just didn’t feel right. We had that niggling gut feeling that something just didn’t click. In the last couple of months we changed everything completely. Sometimes you just know that you’ve taken the right decision, and it was one of those times for us. It all sounds a bit mysterious, but I will share in due course 
Last March we celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary and only recently we’ve been talking about how great it’s been growing up together. This year has made us stronger and even more in love with each other than ever.
2013 is not quite over yet. I’m looking forward to two more winter weddings coming up before Christmas. It’s all going to be very cosy with lots of candles and Christmas trees! Looking forward to spending holidays with the family and long chats into the night in front of the fire
