LIFE LATELY

For the last several months I’ve been going at 120%. Weddings, editing, looking after our home, weddings, editing, repeat. I only finished my last edit and album design about a week ago, but it already feels like ages. I feel like now I’ve got all this time on my hands and I really need to start doing something with it, but sometimes, when you have too much choice, you end up not choosing anything. I need to go to a bookstore and buy several good books to read over winter months. I need to think of personal photography projects to keep creative juices flowing. I want to learn a new editing software, restore a piece of antique furniture, practice flower arranging, plant herbs on my kitchen windowsill, and what not. Over the last few weeks I’ve started two things so far – yoga, which I try to practice daily (I even got my first yoga mat recently. Things are getting serious!), and paleo inspired diet (you can read a brief description here). A combination of both make me feel really good, inside and out, especially after neglecting myself over busy summer months. I love getting creative with food again and having the time to think the meals through. Starting to style my food and photograph it in a pretty way is another wish on my ‘to do’ list. Who knows, maybe there is a food photographer in me! A good beginning is half the battle as they say, and hopefully I will start crossing things off my list soon. Do you have any ongoing projects or something you want to do over the winter months? Please, do share! I would love to hear what are you up to ;)

And because every post is better with a photo, here is an image from my latest trip to Scotland, a place that inspired me a lot.
